UK's baby prince

UK's baby prince set for first royal overseas tour Down Under

Britain's baby Prince George is all set for his first official overseas tour when he visits Australia and New Zealand with his royal parents from Monday.

According to 'The Sunday Times', the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are expected to spend their escape in a luxury tent at the Longitude 131 resort at Uluru (Ayers Rock) in the Australian outback.
The resort of 15 tents is reportedly booked out on the day. The retreat will give the couple a break from their three-week tour and parenting duties to their nine-month-old son.

George, third in line to the British throne, will stay with Maria Teresa Turrion Borrallo, his new Spanish nanny, at the official residence of the governor-general in Canberra.

A detailed shopping list of baby essentials has also been sent to officials in New Zealand so that Prince George will have everything he needs when he arrives in Wellington tomorrow.

The royal couple have packed dozens of outfits for their infant son as part of their bulky luggage that is accompanying them on a commercial flight via Australia, but nappies, wipes, baby food and toiletries will be waiting for them when they land.

Palace sources say this tour is designed to "introduce the Duchess and Prince George" to the two Commonwealth realms.
