Sharif will visit Jama Masjid at 8:30 am. He will later go to Red Fort. Sharif is scheduled to hold talks with PM Modi at around 12:10 pm.

8:10 am: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will meet his Pakistani counterpart Nawaz Sharif and other leaders from the SAARC countries today in one of his first engagements after taking charge.

8:05 am:Modi's first meeting today will be with Afghan President Hamid Karzai at Hyderabad House at 9:30 am.

8:00 am: Narendra Modi will today officially take charge of the new government.
