Kejriwal gets EC notice for gathering with crowd at Jantar Mantar
New Delhi: Delhi Election Commission has issued a notice to Aam Aadmi Party leader Arvind Kejriwal for gathering at Jantar Mantar with crowd on Wednesday without prior intimation.
EC has also issued a notice to AAP leader Ashutosh for accusing his Chandni Chowk rival contestant Kapil Sibal of distributing money among voters. "Kapil Sibal has started distributing money in Chandni Chowk to buy votes. EC should register a case and debar him from contesting," he had tweeted.
Sibal had complained to the Election Commission and challenged Ashutosh to provide proofs for his claims.Earlier in the day, the Election Commission had also issued a notice to Kejriwal for assembling with crowd at Raj Ghat as he did not have the permission for taking more than five persons with him.
