Nandan Nilekani a well known person all over the world, co- founder of Indian IT giant “Infosys” and Indian Prestigious project Unique Identification Authority (UIDAI), now he joined in National Political Party Congress (I) on Sunday, he was welcomed into Congress Party by KPCC President Parameshwar and handed over the flag of Congress Party. Congress Party wants a strong leader from Bangalore, It observed him how he works in critical events and then it chooses Nandan Nilekani.

He said “why he joined Congress Party; it has been 129 years party, fight for freedom and brought freedom to India, created the Green revolution, brought in liberalization (In 1991 PM of India Sri P.V Narasimha Rao and Finance Minister Sri Manmohan Singh (now the Prime Minister of India) introduced liberalization), IT revolution and now try for a rights based revolution. I am IT person and my ideology and the Congress ideology are similar, it has 129 years old history, sure it will going for another 100 years. I am thinking I bring unique experience; I have started company as the co-founder of one of India’s biggest IT companies (“INFOSYS “the first Indian company is listed in NASDAQ), I know how to create jobs and I gave millions of jobs. I gave AADHAR identity numbers to 60 crore people. Working as a chairman of Bangalore Agenda Task Force where I got an opportunity to go into nitty-gritty of local governance.

He is the Bangalore South Congress candidate and competitor against five times MP Ananth Kumar (BJP). Nilekani has full of confident winning against Ananth Kumar.
